Welcome to Becoming U!
At Becoming U, we are dedicated to providing personalized education, communication support and coaching to parents and children 0-6 years old. We are proficient in both Punjabi and English.
Navneet (Nav) Phangureh is a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP), specialized in supporting children with communication challenges. She has a wealth of knowledge, working in the field since 2012, and has supported children's speech and language in private preschools, Kindergarten classrooms, and in their homes.
University Instructor. For the past several years, while staying at home with her two young children, Nav expanded her experiences by teaching university classes in Child Development, Language Development and Language Disorders. She has taught undergraduate and graduate students both in-person and online.
Parent Coach. Coaching is a proven and effective method to help parents learn early intervention strategies. Nav is currently a Hanen Certified speech-language pathologist and is additionally trained in intermediate coaching through the Co-Active Training Institute.
