Communication support for your child (ages 0-6)

Nav can screen your child for any signs of speech and language challenges, depending on their chronological age, and determine whether there is a need for further assessment. 

Nav is qualified to complete speech and language assessments, which include parent interview, clinical observation, child interaction and/or formal speech and language tests. 

After completing an assessment, Nav will determine the diagnosis and provide you with a severity rating (ranging from mild - moderate - severe) and provide next steps.

Our workshops cover a variety of topics, from understanding your child's diagnosis, going through the difference between speech and language, explaining developmental milestones and provide strategies that you can use to support your child at home. We provide evidence-based information and support to help you navigate your child's communication journey

Parent coaching is an effective method to have you make a real difference in your child's development. Nav provides coaching to help align treatment methods with your values and reach your goals with parenting and supporting your child's language journey - all with the least amount of barriers in the way. 

Nav also offers one-to-one treatment in your child's home, to work on personalized speech and language goals in your child's natural environment. Sessions can be as frequent or as infrequent as you'd like. This is the benefit of private speech therapy. Please note, most insurance providers cover the cost of speech therapy!
